R&S welcomes Ukrainian Ilya Pokazieiev AKA Yansima, for a three track EP of hypnagogic techno rhythms.

After a number of tracks and vinyl only EPs for underground labels Yansima now arrives on R&S with a stunning three track EP.

Emerging from the vibrant underground scene in Ukraine, Pokazieiev is a sound designer, DJ, musician and vocalist with an masterful sense of rhythm and groove, drawing fertile inspiration from the lysergic energies of Romanian minimal techno and the breakbeats and low slung bass of UK Garage.

Over the three tracks of the Tweed Cans EP release, Pokazieiev's off kilter rhythms and mesmeric melodic sensibility are sure to delight dancefloors and headphone listeners in equal measure.
